2015 Cleveland Browns Season Preview

The Cleveland Browns got off to a great start last season with a 6-3 record, looking like a playoff team in the process. The second half of the season wasn’t as good for Cleveland with the team finishing with a 7-9 record.  The Browns will look to finish higher than fourth for the first time since 2010, when they finished third in their division.  They haven’t finished higher than third since 2007 and haven’t made the playoffs since 2002.  It has been a rough decade for the Browns, but there may be good news as this team showed promise last season and have a great defense to go with a solid offensive line.  Cleveland could shock people if they get solid quarterback play from Josh McCown.

Player to Watch

Justin Gilbert – Gilbert has had his fair share of struggles off the field, but is one of the more talented players on the team.  The corner seems to have matured and could be primed to have a breakout season.

Cleveland Browns Schedule

Fueled by Sports Prediction

7-9 – Fourth in AFC North

We see the Browns getting off to another promising start to the season, with games against the Jets, Titans and Raiders.  That’s about as easy as it will get for the Browns this season, as they only play four more teams that didn’t make the playoffs last year.
