Bobby Dalbec’s Scouting Report

Hitting

Dalbec is the premier power bat in the 2016 draft and he may remind some of Troy Glaus. There’s one negative to his power, he strikes out a lot (60 times in 213 at-bats in 2015). Overall, Dalbec has expectational bat speed and a decent approach, with plus power and projects at a .270-.280 batting average at the major league level.

Fielding

He has a good arm, but needs to improve his glove if he wants to remain at the hot corner. He looks like a future left or right fielder.
