Detroit Tigers 2015 Top 20 Prospects

The Detroit Tigers are in the beginning stages of a rebuild and may look to trade for prospects, but they may not have the major league players to complete revamp their farm system, which is currently depleted in talent. They did add Beau Burrows in the 2015 MLB Draft and while he may have a bright future he’s still years away from making his big league debut. The Tigers will have the opportunity to add a quality player in the 2016 draft, with a potential Top 10 pick. For now Detroit is at the bottom of the major league in terms of talent.

★★★★★★ – Superstar player that has the potential to make an instant impact in the Major Leagues. This player is a future MVP or Cy Young Candidate.
★★★★★ – Great player at his respected position. Has the potential to be a number one starter if he’s a pitcher. Has All-Star potential, but isn’t on the superstar level.
★★★★ – A good everyday player, but not on the great level. A good number two or three if he’s a pitcher.
★★★ – Major League potential, but most likely just a bench player or number 4 or 5 starter. A chance they will spend most of their career in the minors.
