R.J. Hunter Hits 3-Pointer to give Georgia State the 57-56 win over Baylor

R.J. Hunter hit a 3-pointer with just four second left to give 14th-seed Georgia State a 57-56 win over 3rd-seed Baylor in the second round of the NCAA tournament.

Hunter scored nine consecutive points to put his team within three points of Baylor, after the Panthers trailed by 12 with 2:39 left in the game.

Georgia State’s coach Ron Hunter, who’s the father of R.J. Hunter, rolled out of his chair after seeing the shot fall through. He tore his left Achilles tendon when the team celebrated their Sun Belt Conference Championship.
