2015 San Diego Padres Top Preseason Prospects

The Padres traded away a few of their top prospects this offseason to put together a winning team.  San Diego fortunately  held on to their top three prospects in Austin Hedges, Matthew Wisler, and Hunter Renfroe.  There’s a good chance that Trea Turner will be in the Nationals organization come June, but for now he’s still a part of the Padres farm system.  Turner was drafted in June and the Padres have to wait a year to trade him, so he’ll play half of the year in the Padres farm system and the other half for the Nationals.
