Florida State is a win away from the playoffs, but the Seminoles will have to get through red hot Georgia Tech first. The Yellow Jackets are coming off back to back wins over top 20 teams, and have won five straight games. Florida State has a 28 game winning streak, but it hasn’t come easy especially this season. The Seminoles have relied on second half comebacks to get where they are right now. Georgia Tech is most likely the best team Florida State will play (not counting the playoffs).
Both teams will rely heavily on their quarterback, who have very different styles. Florida State will pass the ball a lot, while Georgia Tech will run the triple option. I expect this game to be a high scoring game with Georgia Tech pulling it out in the fourth quarter. I think Florida State’s luck will finally catch up to them this week.
