ACC Picks Week 13

ACC Picks Week 13

The ACC conference championship game is already decided between Georgia Tech and Florida State.  But their is still a lot to play for this week, with the Seminoles still in the playoff race.   Florida State will host Boston College this week.

Boston College is 6-4, but they did upset #9 USC earlier this season.  The last ranked team that the Eagles played was Clemson and they lost 17-13 at home and they also lost to Louisville last week.  Florida State beat both of those teams and both games were really close.  Boston College would love to ruin the Seminoles season and hand them their first loss since November 24, 2012.  Florida State will bring one of the best pass offenses in the country, led by one of the top quarterbacks in the country Jameis Winston.  Boston College doesn’t have an elite passing defense and I think they will struggle to shut down the Seminoles passing attack.  The Eagles will run the ball a lot and if they can keep that clock running and keep Florida State’s offense off the field they will have a chance.  With that being said I see the Seminoles winning by two touchdowns and that’s being generous.

Louisville will travel to play the struggling Notre Dame Irish.  The Irish have lost three of their last four games and are coming off an embarrassing loss to Northwestern.  With games remaining against Louisville and USC, there is a chance that this team finishes 7-5.  Just to think this was a team that was 6-0 at one point.  Everett Golson has thrown a total of seven interceptions in Notre Dame three losses this year.  Louisville leads the nation with 22 interceptions and I think they will add a few more on Saturday.  I got Louisville winning this game by six.  The only way the Irish have a chance is if Golson doesn’t turn the ball over, which he hasn’t done since week 3.
