The Auburn Tigers will want to quickly forget this disappointing 41-38 loss to Texas A&M. Texas A&M started the game strong but through the rest of the game, Auburn looked like they would pull off another amazing come-from-behind win. Young Aggies Quarterback Kyle Allen created some huge plays with 19 completions for 277 yards and 4 touchdowns passing the ball. It was a big question for whether or not Kyle Allen could step up and lead this team for the rest of the season; it’s clear he has the ability. It’s clear that the Aggies need to have better time management however, if they are going to finish off the season strong.
Auburn was unpredictable through the entire game by started off very slow, started answering the Aggie’ scores and then falling apart late in the game. Even while watching this game, you had to feel that at any point, Auburn would pull ahead. Nick Marshall threw for 217 yards for 1 touchdown and rushed for 67 yards and 2 touchdowns. The thing that Auburn will focus on as they look ahead to #20 Georgia next week, is if they will be able to secure the ball on crucial drives. Auburn had three critical turnovers, the last of which sealed the door for Texas A&M to win the game.
