Alabama may have found their starting quarterback on Saturday night when freshman Jalen Hurts exploded onto the scene with a great performance. Hurts completed 6-of-his-11 attempts fro 118 yards and two touchdowns, while rushing for 32 yards on nine carries and two touchdowns.
The freshman looked more poised than redshirt freshman Blake Barnett, who started the game. Hurts got off to a rough start, fumbling on his first zone read play.
Both of Hurts touchdown passes were big plays to receiver ArDarius Stewart, one went for 39-yards and the other went for 79-yards.
Overall, Alabama seems to have found their starting quarterback for this season and the future.
