Los Angeles Angels first baseman Albert Pujols is day-to-day after being hit by a pitch on his left wrist in the fifth inning against the Toronto Blue Jays.
X-Rays were negative on Pujols’ hand and the team said it was just a left hand contusion, so its pretty much just a bad bruise.
Pujols has broke his left wrist before when playing for the Cardinals in 2011 and it forced him to miss two weeks of play.
Pujols has a slash line of .231/.288//413 with seven homers and 15 RBIs this season.
