The SEC struggled in the first week of the season with the league going 6-6 against out of conference opponents. Alabama was really the only team that looked dominant in their opener, beating USC, 52-6. The SEC went 1-1 against the Sun Belt, with Mississippi State losing to South Alabama and Tennessee narrowly escaping with a close win over Appalachian State. LSU looked awful against Wisconsin, while Arkansas beat Louisiana Tech by scoring a late touchdown.
Nobody knows whats up with the SEC. Alabama is still head and shoulders above the rest of the conference, but is the run finally over?
