The Toronto Blue Jays designates left-handed pitcher Felix Doubront for assignment, according to Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca. The move was made to clear room for recently acquired Troy Tulowitzki.
The 27-year-old Doubront has pitched 22 2/3 innings this season, posting a 4.76 ERA and a WHIP of 1.632.
