The Atlanta Braves have promoted righty Peter Moylan from Triple-A Gwinnett and have optioned Jake Brigham to Triple-A.
Moylan spent the first seven years of his career in Atlanta. The 36-year-old has not pitched in the majors since 2013 with the Dodgers. He was having a great season in Gwinnett, posting 3.14 ERA and six saves in 27 games.
The sidearm pitcher has posted a career ERA of 2.80 and a 21-9 record in 309 career games.
