The Tampa Bay Buccaneers claimed former Texans safety D.J. Swearinger off of waivers, according to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times.
The Bucs had number one priority and took advantage of it. The 31-year-old was a second-round pick out of South Carolina in 2013 and had 145 tackles to go with three interceptions in his two seasons in Houston.
