The San Diego Chargers have signed first round-pick Melvin Gordon, according to Josina Anderson of ESPN.com. San Diego traded up with the San Francisco 49ers to land Gordon with the 15th pick, giving up their 17th overall pick, a fourth-round pick and a 2016 fifth-round pick.
Gordon, 22, put up 2,587 yards last season for Wisconsin, which is just 50 yards shy of Barry Sanders single season record. The 2014 Heisman Trophy runner-up finished his college career with 4,915 yards and 45 touchdowns.
