Chicago Cubs 2015 Top 20 Prospects
The Chicago Cubs saw most of their top prospects make their debut this season, and have quickly went from having one of the top farm systems in baseball to the middle of the pack, but that isn’t always a bad thing. Gleyber Torres is the Cubs top prospect right now and he’s just 18-years-old. The shortstop looks to have a promising future and will give Chicago plenty of flexibility to move one of their middle infielders in the future. The Cubs took a very talented switch hitting outfielder in the first-round of the 2015 MLB Draft in Ian Happ. Happ should be ready to compete for a big league spot as early as 2017. The Cubs have a bright future ahead of them offensively, but will not drafting much high-end pitching come back to haunt them?
