Clayton Kershaw was fantastic yet again on Saturday. The 27-year-old southpaw threw eight scoreless innings for the Dodgers, allowing only two hits and walking one. He now has a scoreless inning streak of 37. He’s still 22 innings short of Orel Hershiser record of 59 innings, but if any pitcher could break that record now days it would be Kershaw.
His ERA also went down from 2.51 to 2.37. Kershaw has been great since the All-Star Break and nobody can say that he’s having a down season now.
