The Cleveland Browns and first round pick Danny Shelton have agreed to a deal worth $11.7 million over four years with a $6.7 million signing bonus.
The 339 pound defensive tackle was taken 12th overall by the Browns in the 2015 draft. Shelton recorded 93 tackles, nine sacks, and lead the NCAA with five fumble recoveries in 2014 for the University of Washington. That great season earned Shelton first team All-American honors.
Shelton has drawn comparisons to Haloti Ngata, and could potentially start Week 1 for Cleveland.
The Browns still have to lock up center Cameron Erving, who they picked 19th overall in the draft.
