The Chicago Cubs have signed Jason Heyward to an eight-year, $184 million deal. The deal also comes with two opt-out clauses, with the first coming after the third year. The Cubs have already landed Ben Zobrist and John Lackey the offseason after making it to their first NLCS since 2003.
Multiple sources indicate Heyward has indeed chosen Cubs over Cards, Nats.
