The Denver Broncos have signed first-round pick Shane Ray, according to Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post.
The 22-year-old was projected to go higher but was arrested just prior to the draft for marijuana possession. The Broncos traded their 28th pick, a fifth-round pick, a 2016 fifth-round pick and Manny Ramirez to move up to select Ray.
Ray finished his college career with 120 tackles, with 34 of those being for a loss. He also had 19 sacks and five forced fumbles in his three years at Missouri.
