Wootton, 27, has 65 career tackles and 12 sacks in five NFL seasons. The Lions have been searching for depth on their defensive line, with Ndamukong Suh, Nick Fairley and George Johnson all going elsewhere. They’ve already added Haloti Ngata, Tyrunn Walker and Gabe Wirght to go with Wootton.
