The Los Angeles Dodgers and the Chicago Cubs are discussing a deal that would include left-handed starter Alex Wood, according to Joel Sherman of the New York Post. Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports is reporting the deal is “a longshot.” Wood was acquired by the Dodgers earlier in the week from the Braves in a 13 player three team trade. Rosenthal is now reporting that a deal was never discussed, but he did say that the Indians have talked to the Dodgers about Wood.
