Dodgers Designate Beachy, Morse, Tsao and Heisey for Assignment

The Los Angeles Dodgers announced today that they’ve designated four players for assignment.  Recently acquired Michael Morse, Brandon Beachy, Chin-hui Tsao and Chris Heisey are the four players.

The team needed to make room for Alex Wood, Mat Latos, Jim Johnson, Luis Avilan and Jose Peraza on their 40-man roster.  The fifth spot opened up when the Dodgers placed Chris Hatcher on the 60-day Disabled List.  The team also optioned Peraza to Triple-A and place Bronsn Arroyo on the 60-day DL.
