Duke Johnson has been living up to his potential and he rushed for over 100 yards for the fifth game in a row. This season has been the year of the running backs and Miami (FL) has their star in Johnson. Johnson rushed for 177 yards and scored two touchdowns in Miami 47-20 win over North Carolina. Johnson also had receiving touchdown and 49 yards receiving. Miami pulled Johnson early, as their next game is against Florida State in two weeks. He has not rushed for less than 90 yards all season.
Duke Johnson had a fantastic run in the second quarter, taking off for a 90 yard touchdown.
Johnson also had a nice receiving touchdown in the third quarter.
The last two games Johnson has rushed for a combined 426 yards and he has scored a touchdown in eight straight games. Johnson is second in the ACC in rushing yards behind James Conner of Pittsburgh. Conner rushed for 263 yards in Pitts lose to Duke.
