Avery Johnson and Alabama received the news that they’ve been waiting for on Monday when five-star shooting guard Terrance Ferguson announced his pledge to the university. He picked the Tide over Kansas, Louisville and North Carolina.
The Dallas, Texas native is number 11 player in nation, the number two shooting guard and the number two player in his state according to 247Sports.
Ferguson took a visit to Alabama on August 6 and graded the visit a 10. The 6’7″ Ferguson is known for his ability to shoot, which is something the Crimson Tide has struggled with the past few seasons.
It’s fair to say this is Alabama’s biggest pickup since Richard Hendrix in 2005.
