Florida Gators defensive lineman Jay-nard Bostwick has been granted his release and can transfer to another school, according to 247Sports.
The article also stated that Bostwick has not been with the team since the 2014 season ended. The 6’3″ Florida native did not participate in spring practice due to what coach Jim McElwanin called “personal issues.”
Bostwick redshirted his freshman season in 2013 and was a backup in 2014, but didn’t see much playing time.
The former four-star prospect recorded just three tackles last season.
