The Los Angeles Angels and Huston Street have agree to a two-year extension worth $18 million, with a $1 million buyout. Street’s deal also comes with a third-year team option worth $10 million, according to Jon Heyman of CBS Sports.
Street, 31, has had a dominant career, posting a career ERA of 2.83 and 286 saves over 11 years. So far this season he has an 3.29 ERA with 11 saves and an unbelievable 9.9 K/9 rate for Los Angeles.
The Angels picked up Street last season in a trade with the San Diego Padres for Taylor Lindsey, José Rondón, R. J. Alvarez, and Elliot Morris.
