Nebraska was trailing Iowa 17-7 and getting ready to punt, and when you think things couldn’t get any worse they do. Nebraska punter Sam Foltz fumbled around with the snap and then kicked the punt off the back of his on lineman’s head. Iowa picked it up and scored a touchdown to give them a 24-7 lead over the Cornhuskers.
To make matters worse for the Cornhuskers, Iowa blocked the field goal on Nebraska’s next special teams play.
