Jon Harris’ Scouting Report
Harris’ stock soared this season, as the righty shutdown teams in the Cape Cod League and followed that with a solid season for Missouri State. Harris has a strong delivery that he repeats consistently with a 3/4 release point. His fastball is the most dominant pitch in his arsenal, as it dives down in the strike-zone and has plenty of movement, which results in a lot of ground balls. He has struggled with his command at times but overall he looks the part of #2 or #3 stater at the big league level. Harris is very athletic but needs to add weight to increase his velocity.
