Kyle Lewis’ Scouting Report

Lewis has seen his stock go from undrafted out of high school to a top five prospect in just three years. His best tool is by far is raw power and his ability to use all fields with his effortless swing and sound approach. Lewis is an above average defender that takes solid routes and has excellent range with his speed. He also has a plus potential arm. It looks like Lewis will end up at one of the corner outfield spots instead of center field.

Kyle Lewis’ Draft Projection

Top-5 Pick

Kyle Lewis’ Pro Comparison

Jason Heyward – Chicago Cubs Outfielder

Where could Lewis end up in the draft?

It’s starting to look like Lewis is the Phillies third option for the number one pick behind Micky Moniak and favorite A.J. Puk. Lewis also looks like the third option for the Reds, who will take Puk if he is available. Cincinnati will probably take Nick Senzel with the second pick, with Delvin Perez and Lewis also in the running. That leaves Atlanta at three, who look like the favorite to take the Mercer outfielder. Lewis would fit exactly what Atlanta needs, which is a power-hitting outfielder, who is close to being major league ready.
