Miami Marlins Acquire Aaron Crow

The Miami Marlins have acquired Aaron Crow via a trade from the Royals for lefty Brian Flynn and minor league right hander Reid Redman.

Aaron Crow had the worse season of his career last season, posting a 4.12 ERA and giving up 10 homers.  Crow is just 28 and will make an instant impact in Florida bullpen, who was ranked 13th in the league last season. Crow went from being the best pitcher in the Royals bullpen to a forgotten man.

The Royals made the trade after signing veteran righty Jason Frasor to a one-year, $1.8 million deal.

Crow was a All-Star as a rookie in 2011 and put up a 2.76 ERA that season.   The Marlins are hoping they get that Aaron Crow and not the one we saw last season. His fastball was around 91-92 mph after being around 94-95 mph in previous seasons.
