New York Mets About to Pull Off Big Trade

The New York Mets are “very close to pulling off a big trade,” according to Marc Carig of Newsday. Andy Martino of the New York Daily News is reporting that there is “momentum” toward a big deal.

Names like Carlos Gonzalez of the Rockies, Gerardo Parra of the Brewers, Justin Upton of the Padres, Carlos Gomez of the Brewers and Jay Bruce of the Reds could all be candidates to be heading to New York. A dark horse could be Yasiel Puig, but a deal involving the Dodger is highly unlikely.
