On this day in 2006, Brandon Webb became the first Arizona Diamondback pitcher to start the season 8-0.

On this day in 2013, Jurickson Profar hit a home run in his first career at-bat becoming the youngest player to achieve that in 55 years.  Proffer was 20 years and 95 days old.
