The Preseason Associated Press Top 25 was released on Sunday, with Ohio State topping off the list at number one, receiving all of the 61 first-place votes and 1,525 points.
TCU came in at number two with 1,428 points and Alabama followed them with 1,322 points, with Baylor and Michigan State rounding out the top five.
The SEC had a total of eight teams in the AP Top 25, which led all conferences. The Pac-12 had the second most teams with six, while the Big Ten, ACC and Big 12 each had three teams.
