The Texas Rangers have activated Josh Hamilton from the disabled list and have sent Joey Gallo to Triple-A Round Rock, according to John Blake.
Gallo, 21, was originally brought up to fill Adrian Beltre spot at third, and was moved to the outfield once Beltre came back. Gallo hit a slash of .218/.306/.448 with 5 homers in 98 plate appearances. He struggled with strikeouts and hitting anything but a home run. The highlight of his time in the majors was his home run off of reining Cy Young and MVP Clayton Kershaw.
Gallo will most likely be back with the Rangers sometime this season.
