The Seahawks struggled offensively most of the game, and trailing the Packers 16-0 late in the third quarter. Seattle had a chance to put some points on the board, and lined up in field goal form, when punter Jon Ryan connected with offensive lineman Garry Gilliam for a 19-yard touchdown. It was the first time in postseason history that a punter completed a touchdown pass. It was also the first catch of Giliam career. The Seahawks would go on to make a remarkable comeback and win the game 28-22 in overtime to advance to their second straight Super Bowl, and it all started with this play.
