The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have resigned defensive end Da’Quan Bowers, according to a team’s press release. The terms of the deal have yet to be released, but the deal will most likely be for the league minimum. He will also have to work for a roster spot with no guarantees in his contract.
The Bucs took Bowers with the 51st overall pick int eh 2011 draft, and the Clemson alum has played 50 games for the team during that span. The 25-year-old has racked up 66 tackles and seven sacks during his career.
Bowers drew interest from the Saints, Lions and Dolphins earlier this offseason.
