Notre Dame’s senior center Matt Hegarty is trying out a new snap called “the ground ball snap.” Unfortunately it didn’t turn out to well for the Fighting Irish, who trial USC 7-0 in the first quarter. Quarterback Everett Golson just fell on top of it, I don’t know what Matt Hegarty was thinking, but it isn’t helping his team their three game losing streak.
