15. Grant Hill

7x NBA All-Star, 1x All-NBA First Team, 1x NBA Co-Rookie of the Year

Throughout his college days and early in his years with the Detroit Pistons, Grant Hill was widely considered to be one of the best all-round players in the game, often leading his team in points, rebounds, and assists. He averaged 21.6 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 6.3 assists through his first six seasons with the Pistons.

Unfortunately, the rest of his career wasn’t as great. He suffered injury after injury, seemingly never able to regain his full form. Before his ankle injury, he produced 9,393 points, 3,417 rebounds, and 2,720 assists in his first six seasons.

After the Detroit Pistons, Hill joined the Orlando Magic alongside Tracy McGrady. The organization hoped the two would return the Magic among the NBA elite. However, Hill was hampered by ankle injuries and only managed 18 games in his first two seasons with the Magic. He even sat out the entire 2003-04 season.

The next season, he suited up for 67 games and made the Eastern Conference All-Star team. He only made the playoffs with the Magic once, but was swept by his old team, the Pistons in the first round. The Magic never reached their full potential as the McGrady-Hill combo was derailed by injuries.
