Today will mark the first time in MLB history that two reigning MVPs will square off when Los Angeles Dodgers lefty Clayton Kershaw squares off with Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout.
Kershaw will face Trout for the first time this afternoon. In the first at-bat the southpaw struck out Trout on a nasty curveball.
Trout also lined out to right field in the seventh and grounded into a force play in the fourth. So it looks like Kershaw one the first battle between the two superstars.
