The Washington Redskins have signed fifth overall pick Brandon Scherff, according to a team press release.
Scherff signed a deal worth $21.216 million over four-years with a fifth-year option and a $13.69 million signing bonus. He will have the full salary guaranteed since he’s a top-five pick.
Scherff should be a great addition for an offensive line that struggled last season. The pick wasn’t a great surprise, as we had him going number five in our mock draft for a long time.
Washington has now signed all 10 draft picks, making the team the eighth franchise to accomplish the feat. The other teams are the Ravens, Texans, Vikings, Dolphins, Bears, Panthers and the Jets.
