Week 10 takeaways:
Big Ben and Antonio Brown are the best tandem since Will Ferrel and John C.Reilly became stepbrothers. The New Orleans Saints couldn’t stop the bad new bears….yeah the little league baseball team. Call me crazy, but I think it’s time to stream whatever QB that’s facing the Saints. Peyton Manning’s throwing ability is abysmal. I’ve seen better arms on Michonne’s pet walkers from The Walking Dead. BTW; They’re taking too long to reveal if Glenn is dead so he’ll be back in an episode or two. DeAndre Hopkins is trying real hard to convince us he’s the best receiver in football. He would even make Peyton look good….mabye in 2013! Aaron Rodgers misses Jordy Nelson like Martin missed Gina when he went to the cult. I hate to see Edelman go down but it’s next man up in New England. Bill Belichick still hates your fantasy team. Remember the reports saying James White was going to fill the Dion Lewis role? That was more fake than the people who better not come to Drake’s studio(100). Two undefeated teams remaining…who goes down first?? …..Let’s get into some waiver wire pick-ups.
#1 QB Waiver Wire add- Mark Sanchez ( 1% owned)
Yep! I said it, Mr. Butt Fumble himself is coming back for redemption. You might be in a pickle where you have two QB’s on a bye. Granted this might only be for one week, backups usually come in and play very well because they know this might be their only chance to prove their worth. The Bucs are 23rd against the pass and 9th against the run. I expect him to make the most of this moment and bring QB controversy to the city of Brotherly Love!
Honorable Mention: ( Blake Bortles– easiest schedule in football, Jay Cutler)
#1 RB Waiver Wire add- Matt Jones (48% owned)
Who? Matt Jones! Who? Matt Jones! (281) 330-8004….Only a select few will get that. I know what you’re thinking, “ Jones only exploded because he was facing the Saints”. And you would be absolutely right by saying so but he faces Panthers, Giants and Dallas next. Temper expectations against the “Keep Pounding” crew but the following opponents are good match-ups. The Giants are 27th against the run and Dallas is 15th against the run.
Honorable Mentions: Alfred Blue-he plays New Orleans in two weeks, David Cobb-they might see what the rookie has
#1 WR Waiver Wire add- Danny Amendola (32% owned)
Brady is the best QB in football so this is a no-brainer. This is your #1 waiver wire priority! Amendola should become the speedy slot receiver with 10 targets a game for the rest of the year. The only downfall is that he inherited bad feet, collarbone, groin muscles and triceps. But if he remains healthy he’s a WR1 for the rest of the year.
Honorable Mention: Kamar Aiken,Michael Floyd
#1 TE Waiver Wire add- Eric Ebron (31% owned)
Can the Lions really turn it around? I don’t think so either but that was a huge win at Lambeau Field. Detroit fired Joe Lombardi before they played/beat the Packers…the irony. Ebron is a pretty good streamer and he’s facing the Oakland Raiders this week. Eric had a case of the dropsies last game but the Black and Silver have given up a touchdown to a tight end in 8 of 9 games.
Honorable Mention: Will Tye, Crockett Gillmore
Players to Drop List
Jeremy Hill– I tried to trade him for a kicker last week. He declined! lol
Jordan Matthews
Peyton Manning
