Russell Westbrook and James Harden are both having historic seasons and it looks like one of the two will become the NBA’s 62nd MVP award winner.
Westbrook has 26 triple-doubles this season, while Harden has 14, the number three player on the list is LeBron James, who has just five. Westbrook is on pace to break Oscar Robertson‘s record of 41 in the 1961-62 season.
Westbrook has led the Thunder to a 31-23 start without Kevin Durant, while Harden has led the Rockets to a 39-17 start without Dwight Howard. Statistically, Harden leads the league in assists per game and Westbrook leads the league in points per game and leads all guards in rebounding per game.
