The New York Yankees have outrighted lefty Matt Tracy off of their 40-man roster. This is the second time the 26-year-old has been removed from the roster this season. He was designated for assignment in April and claimed by the Marlins. Miami never used him and designated him for assignment, with the Yankees picking him back up.
Tracy pitched just two inning for New York, giving up three unearned runs on two hits, he also walked two batters.
